16. Distracted? Seven Methods to Ground Yourself in the Present

Sometimes we get lost in the mental abyss miles into the future or past. While it can be difficult, there's value in connecting to your present self in the moment that you’re experiencing. This is otherwise known as grounding. 

Grounding can lower your stress which helps both your mental and physical health. And when you’re less stressed you’re more likely to make good decisions for yourself, including financial decisions. Connecting with your reality is powerful to do everyday, and especially useful in times of high stress. In this episode I'll go through seven methods to ground yourself in the present.
